Welcome to The Best Little Cowboy Gathering In Texas!

We are happy you're here and welcome you to join us in what will be our now 7th year of fine Texas music, entertainment, food and fun. Our aim is promote the Cowboy Culture with a variety of music emphasizing western swing, country and old cowboy classics but above all, to have a good time. Family style entertainment is served up with true western flavor for a fantastic weekend at the Fayette County Fairgrounds, overlooking the Colorado River Valley, in La Grange, Texas.

This is a weekend of great music & dancing day and night, BBQ cookers, children's events, historical events, and Texas sized hospitality! We have wrapped up our 6th year and will be updating the website with pictures and comments from those of you who made it out for another great year. Keep checking back!

Inside the dance hall, we have reserved seats and tables available. Contact us for more information. There is a limit to standing room within the dance hall. We have instruction from our fire marshall to not allow people to bring their own chairs in the dance hall and sit by the stage as we have done in the past. Also, other than a quick picture, there will be no standing in front of the bandstand. This is put in place for two main reasons, to allow the dance floor to be as open as possible along with the safety of our fans. We simply cannot have people standing on the dance floor. The only standing allowed will be in the back of the dance hall which is a fire exit, so no chairs allowed there. Because of the limited standing in the dance hall, if you did not reserve a spot, there will be plenty of other entertainment going on in the exhibit hall or main stage for you to experience. We want to ensure those that reserved a spot in the dance hall can shuffle those feet as intended.

All events are rain or shine! Come early and stay late!

Most of our events are under a roof so any rain won't hurt us. We go rain or shine! BRING A JACKET! Temperatures in March will drop 20-30 degrees after dark and it can get chilly. We also recommend you grab some sunscreen and your camp chairs as some of our dog and horse shows have limited seating.

Many of the pictures featured on our site are courtesy of our good friend, Cash. Check out his website, Shot-In-Texas, and view his other great shots from the Gathering along with many other unique events and subjects.
